At Nisbets we pride ourselves on the high standard of servicing and customer support we can provide. The standard warranty offered on our products is one year (parts and labour). All our engineers are highly trained and have specialised knowledge of all Nisbets products; we are able to offer a nationwide coverage for warranty and servicing.


Warranty

Before logging any warranty claim, please ensure you read the trouble shooting guide which is included in your product manual. All products manuals can be downloaded from the product page on our website by going to the Useful Documents tab as shown below. This may resolve the problem without the need for a technician to attend your premises.

Polar and Thor units purchased after 1st February 2017 come with a 2 year warranty as standard. Units purchased before this date are supplied with a 1 year warranty.*

*2 year warranty covers on-site parts & labour. Polar ice machines come with a 1 year warranty only. Apuro units purchased after 1st August 2023 come with a 2 year warranty as standard. Apuro units purchased before this date are supplied with a 1 year warranty.

Please note that any repair found to be the result of not maintaining or using the unit in accordance with the product manual, may incur charges for technician labour and parts.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Inspection and Repair Charges
Should Uropa, upon inspection, determine that a reported fault or damage is not covered under warranty, we reserve the right to charge for the technician’s initial inspection and any subsequent repair costs. The following issues are not covered under warranty and must be carefully reviewed by the buyer prior to requesting service:
• Failure due to neglect • Misuse • Incorrect or improper operation • Incorrect installation • Inadequate maintenance • Lack of or improper cleaning • Damage or issues caused by water scale or lime scale.

2. Delays and Cancellations
Delays or cancellations caused by the buyer, including but not limited to incorrect site details or inaccurate access times, will incur a charge at Uropa’s standard call-out and labour rate. The average call-out cost is $300

3. Payment Terms for Warranty Service
If the buyer does not have a credit account with Uropa, we require the buyer to provide valid credit card details before any warranty service is undertaken. By providing these details, the buyer authorises Uropa to charge the card for the reasonable cost of repairs (including labour and parts) not covered by this warranty or not required under Australian Consumer Law (if applicable). Reasonable costs associated with the provision of warranty service include, but are not limited to, travel, site access, labour, and inspection. Reasonable costs will not exceed cost of replacing the item.
