Using a counter freezer is a practical and efficient way to make the most of limited space in professional kitchens. These units offer the same powerful and reliable frozen storage solution as any other commercial freezer, but with the added versatility of having a work surface fitted on top. For kitchens without fitted worktops, a counter freezer is a great way to combine frozen storage with a meal prep area.

Although sometimes called a benchtop freezer or counter top freezer, these units are not designed to be placed on a work surface. They are large heavy duty models fitted with castor wheels for easy positioning on the floor. The name instead refers to the stainless steel counter top that is built in to the unit. For kitchens with counter tops already fitted, an under bench freezer can be used to maximise any unused floor space beneath them.
